Why
Dear Human,
For as long as I can remember, I performed at a high level—but I also crashed, hard.
I played sports, built projects, chased ambitious goals, and pushed my limits. I was all in—until my body forced me to stop. Burnouts, imbalances, fatigue. Every time I pushed hard, I eventually hit a wall. I ‘ve won, a lot. I’ve failed, a lot.
But unlike most people, I never ignored it.
I’ve always been deeply self-aware—and self-awareness is a powerful tool. When you listen to yourself, you start asking the right questions.
Why can I operate at peak performance for months, only to hit a sudden, crushing depletion? Why does my body react differently than others? Why do I have so many ideas? Where do my unique strengths—and mistakes—come from? Why do I allow certain people to disrupt my path?
So, I started digging deeper.
I studied my body, my genetics, and my mind—breaking down how my DNA, gut health, and neurotransmitters shaped my vision-driven personality, focus, energy, and resilience. I realized that my genes weren’t a fixed script—they were just the foundation, waiting to be optimized.
The Wake-Up Call: Histamine Intolerance & My Deep Dive into Longevity
One of the biggest revelations? A genetic predisposition to histamine intolerance and poor methylation (MTHFR gene and others) under certain triggers and conditions.
A slower MTHFR gene or enzyme activity can offer unique advantages, often seen in visionaries and high achievers who excel in multiple areas and can work/train hard. Many individuals with "slow" genes processes thrive in specific environments, leveraging their genetic makeup for resilience, and long-term success.
But here’s the catch—when stress, diet, and environmental factors (bad actors included) aren’t properly managed, these advantages can turn into biochemical vulnerabilities.
What should be a biological strength can become a major roadblock when exposed to the wrong inputs—leading to burnouts.
I realized that most people don’t just need more willpower—they need better tools, deeper knowledge, a stronger support system, and smarter ways to optimize themselves.
This discovery pushed me into the world of longevity, epigenetics, and bio-optimization. And the deeper I went, the more I saw that this wasn’t just my challenge—it was something millions of people unknowingly struggled with.
The key isn’t to fight our genetics—it’s to understand them, work with them, and create an environment where our biology thrives.
By maximizing our strengths and minimizing our risks, we can turn genetic vulnerabilities into superpowers—leading to better health, peak performance, and longevity.
A Deeper Inspiration: Izzy’s Journey
Through this process, I wasn’t just learning about myself—I was also witnessing the resilience of someone I deeply love.
My girlfriend, Izzy, has been on her own physical and mental health journey since she was young. Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, nervous system imbalances—she faced challenges that most people wouldn’t even see, yet she kept going. She sought answers, experimented, and learned how to reclaim her health, step by step.
And then, post-pandemic, she was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)—another layer to her battle. Watching her navigate these challenges with determination, finding ways to work with her body instead of against it, inspired me to look at longevity differently.
Because optimization isn’t just about peak performance—it’s about sustaining well-being for the long run. It’s about understanding your body, your limits, and your unique biology.
Her journey made me realize that more people deserve the chance to truly know themselves.
What I Also Realized? Most People Never Do.
Some don’t even know where to start, while others can’t break free from outdated habits and misinformation. And for those who do? It often feels like stepping into an exclusive, almost cult-like world.
Some people struggle more because their genes are already “dirtier.” Years of stress, toxins, poor lifestyle choices and bad-energy/unqualified people around have clouded their biology, making it difficult to even think clearly, let alone optimize.
Others try to take control of their health but hit a dead end. They fall into overly complex, hyper-clinical biohacking trends that feel disconnected from real life. The current status quo makes proactive health feel either too extreme or too sterile—leaving most people lost in the middle.
Then there are the non-adopters—those who dismiss self-awareness and optimization entirely, believing that evolution just happens on its own. But human evolution has always been driven by self-mastery—the conscious choice to improve, adapt, and optimize.
I’m not saying that financial success or happiness depends entirely on knowing yourself. But full-spectrum success—human, personal, and collective—does. Because the more we understand ourselves, the better we navigate life, relationships, human connections, health, and the future we are shaping together.
That’s When I Got It: We Need a New Culture
Not just another product. Not just another supplement. But a culture—a movement—where self-improvement feels natural, not forced. Where people are excited to evolve, optimize, and perform at their best—without sacrificing pleasure, without losing the social, human experience that makes life fulfilling.
And that’s what led me to Chōka.
Most people go through life without truly knowing themselves—without understanding their potential, their limits, or the small shifts that could radically transform their health, performance, and the five pillars of true wealth (physical, mental, time, social, financial).
But self-awareness isn’t just about reflection—it’s about data. Testing, measuring, and understanding the signals our body and mind give us.
At Chōka, we believe that everyone should decode their own biology and energetic blueprint—to gain real insight into what strengthens them and what holds them back.
We envision a future where knowing yourself becomes a social standard—where self-optimization and testing are not just personal choices, but fundamental pillars of the next 100 years of human evolution.
Maybe not everyone will follow this path—but we are trying, pushing, and shaping a movement where people are empowered to take control of their health in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
I Built Chōka Because I Believe in Human Evolution.
Not just in biology, but in consciousness, connection, and optimization.
Not in a robotic, sterile way, but in a way that unites people, sparks curiosity, and transforms self-improvement into a desire—an exciting pursuit, not an obligation.
Chōka isn’t just about adding years to life—it’s about making every year more vibrant, more intentional, and more connected.
And in a time when AI is freeing us from routine tasks, we have a unique opportunity to turn inward—to explore ourselves, our health, and our full potential like never before.
Let’s redefine Longevity. Together.
